Easter was a lot of Fun

Ryan decided since he ran out of eggs to color, that his hand could use some yellow. The little stinker dipped his entire hand in the cup,so it looked like he was wearing a rubber glove.
Looks like Luke is ready to help out the Tribe, we all know they could use it! The carrot bats were a big hit.
All the boys received "Easter Bee Hats", but it looked the best on Sammy.
JJ did his first two-toned egg, it was 2 shades of green. He was disappointed we didn`t have John Deere green available.
We all sure went home with a lot of loot from Grandma and Grandpa Kerscher's house. JJ counted the eggs and decided there were over 100 that were hidden around the house. It was lot's of fun but we all sure missed Uncle Russ's Spectacular Egg Hunt. Hopefully he and Aunt Kate can hide them for us next year.Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Sanibel Island

Luke and Sam had a blast at the beach! We saw lots of wildlife at the beach including "pet" dolphins that hung out for an entire day, flying fish, huge pelicans and many many sting-rays. We learned that you are supposed to do the "Sanibel Shuffle" while walking into the ocean so that you don't sneak up and startle or step on a sting-ray. It hurts really bad when you step on a sting-ray!!
Luke enjoyed some firsts while vacationing in Sanibel. The biggest is that he now goes underwater (on purpose)....and likes it!! Yay! Hooray! He was also very brave at the beach and enjoyed venturing all the way out to the Sandbar with his buddy, Jack. He and Sammy also enjoyed the showers at the condo very much. They spent lots of time in the shower when it was too early or too late to be at the pool or the beach ;)

We enjoyed an afternoon with Uncle Bob that included a gator sighting (very close and personal) at Uncle Bob's golf course, talking parrots that said "hello Sam" and "hello Luke", Ding-Darling nature preserve, Pinnocio's ice-cream, a very cool playground visit, dinner at the Bubble Room, a visit to Captiva, the Marina and more!
We love Sanibel!
