Matt, Mary, Jackson and Ryan visit!

Okay, next time I'll put the pictures on here in reverse order, but for now, read from top to bottom...

We had a great time with our special visitors! Come back any time! :
Love, Uncle Russ and Aunt Kate :)
Looking at the farm animals!

They had great fall food: chili, hot dogs that you roast on a campfire, pumpkin pie, etc!

Watching how the kettle corn is made!

Matt is in a dress!!!

Both boys helped haul the pumpkins into the barn to be weighed!

After the hayride Jackson and Ryan picked out their pumpkins!
On the hayride!

When we got to the farm with the pumpkin patch, Mary got fresh-popped Kettle corn for everyone to share on the hayride! And while we waited in line, Ryan measured how tall he is this Fall!
Later on we headed to a farm!
Uncle Russ held the book for Jackson while he read comfortably upside-down...

...and something smelled a little stinky!!! ;)

On Sunday morning we were "Lucky Listeners" and got to hear Jackson read to us!

After the game we came back and had pizza and fell asleep after watching a little more football on TV.

The next morning we all got up, had yummy donuts and put on our Scarlet & Gray to go to the Wisconsin game!

Matt, Mary, Jackson and Ryan arrived Friday night and we all spent time playing Wii and catching up. We even had special visits from Aunt Kate's brother Matt, and cousins, Marissa and Kevin!

Pumpkin Patch

Before leaving Columbus on Sunday we stopped at a Pumpkin patch with Uncle Russ and Aunt Kate. We enjoyed a great hay ride, cooking hot dogs on the open fire and picking out a couple huge pumpkins. When we got home we carved them up and cooked pumpkin seeds, yum!!!

OSU vs Wisconsin Weekend - Go Bucks!

Last weekend we went to Columbus to visit Uncle Russ and Aunt Kate and to watch the Buckeyes. We stayed at Uncle Russ and Aunt Kate's house both friday and saturday nights. We got there about 8 on friday night. Shortly after we arrived Kate's brother came over to visit and also Marissa and Kevin who were in town visiting a friend. On saturday morning Uncle Russ and I took the boys to get donuts and then we went to the game. We went to Kate's tailgate and ate lunch and played a litte corn hole and then we took the boys over to St. John's Arena to see pictures of Mommy and Uncle Pat with their respected Big Ten Champion teams. On our way over there we saw one of Mary Kay's favorite coaches Donnie Smith and then on our way back we saw Jonathon Lamply, a former 2nd grade student and now a proud member of the TBDBITL. After a quick stop back at the tailgate it was off to the game. We first went to see Bill Wells at his 46 yard line seats and happened to catch the famous "Script Ohio" while we were there. Then it was off to our seats. This was Ryan's first Buckeye game and he and I sat in Mom and Dad's seats for the first half and Mary Kay and Jackson sat in our Alumni seats which were actually on the 40 yard line (impressive!). At half time the boys switched seats and then in the 4th quarter we moved down to open seats right in the end zone, the boys loved being closer to the action and the Buckeyes beat Wisconsin 31-13. After the game we went back to the tailgate to get Russ and Kate and then went back home to enjoy some Tommy's Pizza.
On sunday morning we enjoyed Kate's breakfast casserole and the boys enjoyed coloring and playing with Uncle Russ. Around noon we headed out to the pumpkin patch for a nice hay ride and to pick out some huge pumpkins.
