Don't these boys look handsome...

Jackson's Kindergarten Graduation

Last night, May 25th Jackson graduated from Kindergarten at Kathy's Pre-School. Mommy, Daddy, Ryan, Grandma & Grandpa Kerscher and Grandma Bangtson were in attendance to watch Jackson's class perform several songs and then receive their diploma's. It was a nice evening and we are all very proud of Jackson!

"Skinnamerinky Dinky Dink, Skinnamerinky Doo....I love you!"

On Wednesday, May 13th, 2009, Luke had his FINAL Preschool Program at First United Methodist. His teacher, Mrs. Durr, said that he was her "star singer". He loved hearing that!

Although Luke was very into his performance, his friend, Tyler, looked as though he had seen a ghost the entire time on stage. Luke said that he told him "dude, just sing the songs that we rehearsed!" and Tyler replied, "I'm too nervous".

First United Methodist Preschoolers -classes 3 yrs. through 5 yrs.

Even Batman enjoyed Luke's performance ;)

One down...many more to go!

On the morning of Friday, May 1st, Luke woke up missing a tooth! Andy and I thought that his tooth must have been swallowed the following night while he slept. Luke insisted on searching his bed and what do you know? He found that little tiny white tooth in his sheets! Since Andy was going to Uncle Russ' bachelor party that weekend, Luke decided to wait until Sunday night to leave his tooth for the Tooth Fairy (this way Dad could see what was left for him). He left his tooth along with a note that read "please don't take my tooth. Love, Luke" The Tooth Fairy left Luke 6 quarters....and 1 tiny white tooth.

7 BOYS

...more like 7 GOOFBALLS.

Batter Up!

The Kerscher boys had their first tee-ball game on Saturday. What a great day for a game!
Home Runs are fun!

Like father, like son.

Luke, Jackson and Ryan very patiently waiting their turn at bat.
Even though it was very sunny, Ryan managed a perfect "cheese".

Zips Baseball Game at Canal Park

Between Grandpa and Mike i believe they have summed up last nights game quite nicely so i am going to copy their summaries below and add pictures that i took.

Akron won big against Kent……3 Tallmadge kids on the teams. Jackson got a foul ball down the right field line……he beat about 10 others to the ball…..it was awesome. Later an Akron player gave him another ball by the Zips dugout. Mike and Josh were there.

Here's a little more of a description from Mike.

Good recap Big Fred – A few other highlights - The foul ball that Jackson eventually got luckily missed hitting poor Kyle by a few feet. Josh, Jackson & Kyle all getting high fives from Zippy – Ryan was nowhere to be seen. Popcorn. Jackson spelling “CORN” with his John Deere hat on. Josh getting his leg stuck in a seat and screaming bloody murder only to recover five seconds later. Zippy kicking Flash’s butt in a dance contest. Tin foil wrapping contest. The boys sitting on top of the dugout after the game.

Lastly, the Kerscher boys giving Josh a ball as we walked out and with a big smile he excitedly said “Thanks for the ball, guys!!”

All in all, a good night at the ballpark.

Russ' Bachelor Party

Had a great weekend at Big Sandy Campground in Whitehouse, Ohio (close to Toledo). In attendance were Matt, Andy, Fred, and Russ's friends Joe, Andrew, Andy, and Doug.

On Saturday went up to Detroit for a Indians/Tigers baseball game. The Tribe lost, but still a good trip. Also got on the Jumbo-tron!

Kate and Russ went to Mexico!

No swine flu luckily, but we had a really good time. Kate did awesome at work over the past 6 months and won a sales contest!

I was just lucky enough to tag along.
